Along today’s E6 highway, there are a few old roadside pockets – likely remnants from when the road was straightened over the years. On some of these small pull-offs, it’s actually safe to park for a moment, step out, and just take in the view. This early April afternoon, I did exactly that.
The sky was on fire – a rare and stunning evening light show that doesn’t happen too often. Deep reds and glowing oranges stretched across the sky, and the fjord below mirrored it all like glass. In that moment, it was easy to forget where I was. The reflection, the calm, the color – it all felt like somewhere far away, some exotic place on the other side of the world.
But no – this was right here in Trøndelag. And it was beautiful.
